These Tyrone turquoise hoop earrings in sterling silver feature a stunning pair of Tyrone turquoise in a super saturated shade of blue-green with a matrix in hues of orange and rust. The turquoise earrings are stud earrings with large silver rope hoops that dangle freely below the stones (these earrings do make a lovely tinkling sound when they move due to the texture of the hoops).

Tyrone turquoise was mined in the Burro Mountains near Silver City, New Mexico.  Tyrone has become collectible, as the mine stopped producing in the 1980's.

Specifications

  • Stone: Tyrone turquoise, mined in New Mexico.
  • Size: The earrings measure approximately 2.5 inches in total length.
  • Material: Sterling Silver (.925) and Fine Silver (.999)
  • Misc: Post Earrings with bullet style earring backs

To keep your silver jewelry looking like new, take that extra second to remove it before cleaning, bathing, swimming, or any activity that would cause excess wear and tear. Avoid exposing your jewelry to perfumes, lotions, soaps and other liquids, as well as extreme heat.

If your jewelry becomes dirty, clean with a soft cloth or soft tooth brush and a mild soap if necessary (I use Dawn), or polish with a silver polishing cloth.
Please note that polishing cloths are infused with an abrasive and will remove intentional patina along with the unwanted tarnish, so take
care not to accidentally polish off the patina!

Finally, as a best practice, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place with your complimentary anti-tarnish tab.
